Volunteer Libya officially launches website and organization

Seattle, WA – Volunteer Libya announces its official launch on May 15th, 2011, as a humanitarian organization coordinating and deploying volunteers in critical roles within cities across Libya to provide aid and efforts in the rebuilding of the country.

The Volunteer Libya team, consisting of Libyan and non-Libyan members, works as a liaison between volunteers and relief organizations throughout Libya, intending to help the country’s citizens in the process of reconstruction and the restoration of order.

It is Volunteer Libya’s mission to contribute to the establishment of a foundation of prosperity and wealth for the future of Libya. By offering a database that organizes professional and non-professional prospective volunteers and contributors, Volunteer Libya prepares teams of volunteers interested in traveling to Libya to lead and assist in the rebuilding process.
